Dear Director,

I respectfully request permission for my yacht, S/V [Yacht Name], Call sign [Call Sign] Gross/Net Tonnage [Gross/Net Tonnage], to clear into Vanuatu at Port Resolution, Tanna.

Our expected date of arrival is [DD-MM-YEAR]

Our intention is to make landfall at Port Resolution in order to visit Mount Yasur and explore the island before continuing north by day passages to Port Vila. We hope to experience the unique culture and natural beauty of Tanna in a safe and respectful manner, without undertaking overnight passages.

We understand that Port Resolution is not a designated port of entry, and therefore we are requesting your special authorization to clear in at this location. We are fully prepared to cover the cost of transportation for Customs, Immigration, and Biosecurity officials to travel from Lenakel to conduct the clearance.

In accordance with entry requirements, we are submitting the following forms more than 24 hours before our planned arrival:

- photo of the yacht, 
- clearance certificate from my last port.
- photocopy (scan or clear photo) of the vessel’s registration certificate
- Inward Report (Small Craft)
- Vanuatu Passenger Arrival Cards (for all on board)
- Vanuatu Biosecurity Yacht Masters Certificate
- Vanuatu Maritime Declaration of Health

We will comply fully with all directions provided by your office and the relevant authorities.
